Privacy Policy

Effective April 17, 2026

AzimuthOS is a job search and career management platform operated by GJN LLC, doing business as Project Azimuth (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights regarding that information.

By creating an account or using AzimuthOS, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Information We Collect

Account information

When you create an account we collect your email address and a hashed password. We do not store plaintext passwords.

Résumé files

You may upload PDF résumés to generate your Experience Profile. These files are stored securely in cloud storage and are only accessible to you and the services that process them on your behalf (see Section 3).

Experience Profile data

Skills, roles, seniority indicators, and career narrative extracted from your résumés are stored as structured data linked to your account. You can review, edit, and delete this data at any time from your Profile page.

Job search and tracker data

Search queries you run and jobs you save or track are stored to power your pipeline view and improve search relevance.

Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card number, CVV, or full payment details. We retain only a Stripe customer ID and subscription status to manage your plan.

Usage data

We collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) for security monitoring and debugging. We do not currently use third-party analytics trackers.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and maintain your account and authenticate your sessions.
  • To generate and refine your Experience Profile using AI-assisted analysis of your résumé content.
  • To run job searches and rank results against your profile.
  • To manage your subscription and process payments through Stripe.
  • To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset). We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent.
  • To investigate abuse, enforce our Terms of Service, and maintain security.

3. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third-party providers to operate AzimuthOS. Each processes data under its own privacy policy.

OpenAI

Your résumé content is sent to the OpenAI API to extract skills, roles, and career signals used to build your Experience Profile and power search ranking. OpenAI processes this data under its API data usage policy. API data is not used to train OpenAI models by default.

Supabase

We use Supabase for authentication, database storage, and résumé file storage. Data is hosted on infrastructure in the United States.

Stripe

Stripe handles all payment processing. Your payment card data is collected directly by Stripe and is never transmitted to or stored on our servers.

Vercel

AzimuthOS is hosted on Vercel. Server logs and edge network data are processed by Vercel in accordance with their privacy policy.

Resend

Transactional emails are delivered via Resend. Only your email address is shared for delivery purposes.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data, Experience Profile, and tracked jobs for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data — including résumé files, profile data, and job history — is permanently deleted within 30 days. Payment records required for tax and compliance purposes may be retained by Stripe for up to 7 years as required by law.

5. Your Rights (All Users)

  • Access and portability. You can view and edit your Experience Profile at any time from within the app.
  • Deletion. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from Settings → Delete my account.
  • Correction. You can edit your profile data directly in the app.
  • No sale of data. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers or data brokers.

6. Additional Rights for EEA, UK & Swiss Residents (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or equivalent law may apply to our processing of your personal data.

Lawful basis. We process your personal data on the following bases: (a) performance of a contract — to provide the services you signed up for; (b) legitimate interests — to maintain security, prevent fraud, and improve the service; (c) consent — where required by law, such as for optional communications.

Your GDPR rights. You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, and port your personal data. You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may exercise these rights by contacting us at support@azimuthos.com.

Right to lodge a complaint. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority if you believe we have not complied with applicable data protection law.

International transfers. Your data is processed in the United States. We rely on our third-party processors' compliance programs (including standard contractual clauses where applicable) to govern international data transfers.

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) provide you with additional rights regarding your personal information.

  • Right to know. You may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
  • Right to delete. You may request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions. You can do this directly in-app from Settings → Delete my account.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of AzimuthOS after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
